Hi Ivan - just wanted to thank you for letting us stay at your great place & let you know what an excellent venue I think you have. Back in Sept me & my touring buddy stayed over (15th Sept) on our way to a road trip up to Denmark. It took a bit of finding as there were road works back down the road that made us cross the canal at the wrong bridge & then the directions were all wrong because we came across the wrong bridge but we found you eventually. When we walked in we thought we had died & gone to heaven! After a long ride from the UK to get to you to get a warm welcolm, a beer on the house, excellent food & just kicking back & playing pool in the bar was just what we needed. loved the big maps so you could see where we were going & other people had been. Having the bikes undercover & secure next to your room is always a recipe for a good nights sleep, not to mention plenty of your fine beer, liked the way the clock in the bar is always 3mins to midnight! It was a shame we were there on a friday & missed saturdays band, maybe we can come back again one day just for the hell of it on a saturday. I also loved your W&W Patagonia posters out in the bike garage, Ive written a begging letter to W&W to see if I can get one. So to finish - a truely excellent bar with fine beer, good music (althought it did get stuck on Stevie Ray Vaughan for 7 times until we mentioned it & you gave the PC a bash) & a great palce to stop over whether you are ride a Honda or an HD - Loved it dude! - Moosehead & The Pelton Pixie.

The barrel must have been empty when you asked for beer ...
Sometimes, if the new barrels aren't put ready (that's mý fould !) It can take some time for a lady to get a new barrel on. My apologies if this has happened to you.

As a matter of fact, since 2012 everybody is charged automaticaly when there is live music(*), even if you didn't listen to it. Most of our customers don't stop asking for live entertainment, so I am convinced to do people a favour when I put a quality band on our stage. I really don't programm live bands for my own sake. If a very small contribution of € 3.00 is not paid with pleasure, you can ask me to make an exception (!), or you can visit us on another weekend. Live entertainment is always mentioned on our site long before date!

All the rest of your complaint is personal.

Not impressed this year staff too keen to get money out of people and charged extra for band I didn't want to listen to. waiting to order beer staff just turned her back and disappeared for 5 minutes. no explanation or apology. You are just rude and too expensive for what you offer. I can get better quality for less or same money and polite hosts.
Its not the place it is your attitude that prevents me from wanting to come back.

drank in the bar until 12.30 very friendly booked room however cant comment as i went on a bit of a pub crawl with three very nice girls stopped at lots of small village clubs. ended up on a terrace at 6.30.am in Oostende then off to a bakery for a bite to eat. returned after 10.30am and could not have a breakfeast but owner did allow a free cup of tea. everything there is more than okay like the idea of parking your bike outside your room. owner is a great bloke 2nd time ive been there and plan more visits this year
